I'm very excited to be offering two brand new services to new parents: Fresh 48 Hospital Sessions and Lifestyle In-Home Newborn Sessions.

Fresh 48 Sessions can be booked in addition to or independently from a regular newborn session.  They are a quick and painless 30 minute session right within your hospital room!  I'm happy to travel within Fairfield, New Haven and Middlesex Counties in Connecticut.

As a limited time special, I am offering the next three moms that book a full newborn package, a FREE Fresh 48 session along with it.  Session must be booked by July 1, 2016.

Lifestyle Newborn Sessions can be booked in place of a posed studio newborn session, or can take place within a posed session.  Lifestyle sessions are a shorter and more affordable option than posed sessions, and result in a beautiful, natural glimpse into your everyday life with a newborn.

 I've said it before and I'll say it again, one of my favorite aspects of this business are the relationships.  Not only are the new relationships that I've developed incredible, but it has given me the opportunity to reconnect with so many people that I've met in my past.  Christa was someone I went through the MBA program with at Sacred Heart, so we spent a lot of time together during those intense months!  I was thrilled to hear from her that she and her husband, Nick, were expecting and wanted to book a session.

I traveled to their gorgeous home in Middletown, CT for their in-home newborn photography session.  We decided to do a combination of posed shots and lifestyle, and I just love the way their gallery turned out!

Baby Leah Newborn Session | Stefanie Cole Photography | Milford, CT Newborn Photographer

After having a slew of boys in my first year of business, it seems I'm now on a baby girl streak. I am really enjoying using all of the adorable accessories I have accumulated over the past several months.  For this session I traveled to Milford, CT for Baby Leah's newborn photoshoot.  This little girl was on her best behavior for our session.  She slept like a dream, and is the first baby in my career who did not poop or pee on me at all...photographer win!  Is she not just the cutest little thing you've ever seen?

A huge reason why this session was so successful was because Mom and Dad followed my prep instructions to a T.   They kept Leah awake before I got there, warmed their apartment up above 80 degrees, and gave her a nice big feeding before we started.  All of these small steps go a long way in ensuring that a newborn sleeps through their (mostly naked) photo shoot!

Baby Maisie Newborn Session | Stefanie Cole Photography | Trumbull, CT Newborn Photographer

Well, in case you missed the abundance of pictures I posted...baby Maisie is here!  She was born 7 lbs 5 oz, 20.5 inches and one month later is already up to 9 lb 13 oz, 21.5 inches.  This little girl is one tough cookie, and loves to eat, hold her head up, and get kisses from her brother.

I understand now why people recommend that you hire a photographer to do your own newborn photos.  The process of taking these was a disaster, which is by no means an exaggeration, and she was my most uncooperative client to date.  But nonetheless, we got some beautiful images and one month later, I'm going to stop torturing her for a bit :)

Baby Christopher was just as sweet as can be at just 12 days old.  He was such an easy going baby and happy to sleep the morning away, stretching out occasionally but then dozing back to sleep.  He gave us some of the most adorable expressions, and as always I was blown away at how distinct his little personality was already!

Kieran and Maeve Twin Newborn Session | Stefanie Cole Photography | Trumbull, CT Newborn Photographer

I had such a wonderful time photographing twins, Kieran and Maeve.  It was incredible to see what distinctly different personalities these two already had.  Kieran was totally go with the flow and content with sleeping his way through the shoot, no matter how many times his sister squished him or pinched him.  And Maeve was the little fighter, intent on only doing the poses she wanted in the way she wanted them done.

When you look at the family pictures and the way Mom and Dad look at these two, it's easy to see they are already in love.
